Here’s   a   little   video   we   had   fun   making   a   while   back.   It   was   entered   in   a Dark Crystal film competition for the Jim Henson Company …
What   are   our   influences?   Well,   here   are   a   few   -   Jim   Henson’s   Dark   Crystal and   Labyrinth   films,   for   sure.   J.   R.   R. Tolkien’s   Lord   of   the   Rings,   inevitably. Star   Wars   aliens   (strangely.)   Tim   Burton’s   The   Nightmare   before   Christmas, Bettlejuice   &   The   Corpse   Bride.   C.S.Lewis’s   Narnia   books.   Anything   by Brian   or   Wendy   Froud.   Everything   Roald   Dahl   ever   wrote   for   children.   Edith Nesbitt,   Five   Children   and   It   &   The   Pheonix   and   the   Carpet.   The   Tales   from Arabian   Nights.   Harry   Potter.   Dr   Who.   The   list   is   endless.   Oh,   and   Noggin the   Nogg,   plus   Oliver   Postgate’s   entire   output.   Charles   Perrault’s   fairy   tales. You get the idea.
